T-shirt printing prices depend not only on the actual processes involved when printing (such as whether digitally, screen or transfer), but the number of t-shirts to be printed also plays a vital role in determining how much the order would cost. Obviously, the price for printing one t-shirt would be different from the unit price of printing 1000 t-shirts. When it comes to digital heat transfer / sublimation printing, the color and type of t-shirts involved also has to be put into consideration.
For sublimation, transfer or vinyl tshirt printing, which are the types of printing we specialize in, there is no minimum t-shirt quantity requirements and no limit to the number of colors. This means we can print for you any number of t-shirts, from just text to images/ photos or a combination of the two. Also, this type of printing is fast compared to screen printing which is more labor intensive and hence the longer lead times.
Nevertheless, vinyl t-shirt printing gives the best quality print, and the print lasts for a very long time (if not permanent). Also, there is more variety when it comes to vinyl t-shirt printing as we can print almost any material onto your t-shirts, from glitter to glow in the dark, not to mention rhinestone, hence we provide more options.
Before we quote you for t-shirt printing, please answer the following: How many t-shirts would you like printed? Would we be supplying the t-shirts or you supply? What is the size of the print area?A4, A5 or pocket size, etc? What color(s) would the print be?
For large quantities, i.e, from 50 upwards, a screen print would be more suitable. This involves high set up
costs (screens and positives), but very low per unit costs, making it the most cost effective tshirt printing method. Screen printing is more complex to quote on as all the information is need before we supply a quote for an order. There is no fixed fee as the price is highly dependent on the number of t-shirts to be printed, the number of colors required, and for a more appropriate quote it would be best to send through the artwork in the beginning, so we can determine exactly how much ink is required for us to give you the best deal. This type of printing also takes longer, usually 5 – 7 working days
